I am currently a tenure track Assistant Professor in Accounting at Troy University. I finished my PhD in Accounting at the University of Southern California in the Spring of 2021.

My research is focused on the disclosure practices of firms and the effects of disclosure.

​

I am a Chartered Financial Analyst and I hold an MBA from the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas and bachelor in international business from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria. Before pursuing my Ph.D., I worked as an investment analyst and portfolio manager for a family wealth management office and a university endowment.
